A delicious pumpkin pie that will delight you in the fall

The pumpkin harvest is just begging for your kitchen. Try making this pie and it will become your favorite pumpkin dessert during its season.

Details

For the dough, take:
250 g flour
200 g sugar
125 g butter
1 egg

For the filling:
5 g vanilla sugar
500 ml milk
200 g sugar
750 g pumpkin

Wash the pumpkin, cut off the skin and clean the middle from the seeds so that only the hard part of the pumpkin remains. Cut it into medium cubes. Pour the milk into a medium saucepan and put the chopped pumpkin there. Wait until it boils, add sugar and vanilla sugar and cook for 30 minutes.

On a wooden board, mix the flour with sugar and butter cut into small pieces. Chop well with a knife, then beat in the egg and knead the dough. When it is ready, wrap it in cling film and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes to “rest”.

Cook the pumpkin until soft, then drain the milk and puree the pumpkin with a blender. Leave it for 20 minutes to cool.

Take out the dough and spread it out in a baking dish, forming sides. Bake the dough in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

After the filling has cooled, add the egg and mix well. We take the baking dish out of the oven and pour the filling onto the dough. And again send it to the oven for 20-30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. The pie is ready, you can enjoy it!
