According to some experts, cruciferous vegetables are called “power plants” that have a unique ability to activate the body's natural detoxification system. Moreover, they can reduce the risk of cancer, thereby preventing early death.
“The cruciferous phytochemical sulforaphane has also been found to protect the blood vessel wall from inflammatory signals that can lead to heart disease,” said Dr. of the Cleveland Clinic.
