A houseplant that regenerates easily and quickly

Tradiscantia is a plant that can rise from the ashes if someone has dried it. If you have one and are thinking of throwing it away, don't rush. You can restore it and give it the opportunity to please you.

How to restore tradiscantia

First of all, see what exactly is happening to it. Remove it from the pot. It is worth cleaning it from the old soil, disinfecting the roots and transplanting it into new and clean soil. It is best if its composition is based on universal soil with the addition of perlite and coconut.

Tradiscantia grows well in bright places. It does not like direct sunlight, so on summer days, move it away from the window.

Like every plant, tradiscantia has its own watering regime. You need to wait until the soil dries out by ⅓, and then give it a portion of moisture.

In order for tradiscantia to look beautiful and grow actively, it needs to be regularly shaped and updated. Don't forget to fertilize it once every two weeks. Fertilizers for decorative leafy plants are normally absorbed by tradiscantia, but in winter you need to see how much the plant needs such support. It is possible that you will not need to fertilize, and with the onset of active growth and warm weather, you can return to regular fertilization.
