A life hack that will eliminate chemicals and improve the taste of store-bought chicken

As soon as I bring a store-bought chicken at home – I immediately fill it with salt water – this life hack was suggested to me by a woman, and I'm sharing it with you.
We all know that store-bought chicken is full of chemicals, antibiotics and hormones. Someone does not attach importance to this, so they do nothing with the chicken and cook immediately. And someone is trying to remove all this chemistry, or at least reduce its amount.
In general, of course, it is better to buy a domestic chicken or breed chickens yourself (if you live in the countryside). But homemade chicken is expensive.
In the past, to get rid of these chemicals, I marinated the chicken if I was going to bake it in the oven. And if for soup, I drained the first water after boiling.
And then I learned about another method – soaking the chicken in a strong salt solution.
The proportions are as follows: per 1 liter of water – 3 tablespoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of citric acid. Stir until the salt dissolves, drop the chicken. There should be enough water so that the chicken is completely submerged.
We soak for at least 3 hours, you can leave it longer, sometimes I even leave it overnight. Such a solution perfectly removes antibiotics and everything else from the chicken. So now it's not scary to eat store-bought chicken.
And the meat also becomes softer and juicier – this is such a nice bonus.
I hope it was useful for you!
