A nutritionist advised to consume foods with probiotics daily

One of the best sources of probiotics for the body is sauerkraut, the nutritionist said.
According to the nutritionist, probiotics are the so-called good bacteria, which are extremely important for maintaining a healthy intestinal microbiota. The specialist noted that the state of the intestinal microbiome seriously affects key parameters of the body's functioning, including metabolism, nervous and immune systems. Eating probiotic foods, which help improve the state of the intestinal flora, can also improve overall health.
There are studies that confirm the benefits of different strains of probiotics for the figure, skin, and polycystic ovary syndrome. They are also useful for reducing painful symptoms in irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease,” the nutritionist listed.
Speaking about which foods contain probiotics, the doctor advised eating sauerkraut, natural yogurts (without sugar), kefir, a drink based on kombucha, kimchi, and kvass. She noted that in the absence of contraindications, it is useful to eat probiotic foods not only daily, but also several times a day.
“Ideally, it is useful to eat 2-3 servings of probiotic food per day,” the expert advised.
