“Many scientists are convinced that one of the most useful green teas for health is matcha, because it has a higher level of antioxidants, than traditional green tea, and is especially known for its anti-cancer properties,” said nutritionist Lisa Young.
This is Japanese tea, the leaves of which are ground to a powdery state. It is usually brewed in water, the temperature of which does not exceed 70 degrees, which allows you to get a maximum of useful substances. One of the most important are catechins, a type of antioxidant that stabilizes the level of harmful free radicals that damage cells and cause chronic diseases.
However, the Japanese drink not only fights free radicals, but also strengthens the health of the brain, heart and liver. Some studies have shown that it even prevents cancer.
