The specialist reported on the beneficial effect of beer and wine in the case when the human body recovers after intense physical exertion (for example, after heavy sports training).
“Beer and wine are useful after heavy training, these drinks help the body recover faster,” the doctor noted.
Also, the doctor added, beer helps protect the respiratory system from infectious agents. As for wine, its intake reduces the level of the stress hormone.
At the same time, the doctor emphasized: everything said applies to non-alcoholic versions of drinks. The presence of ethyl alcohol in them negates the benefits that they can bring to health. Toxins released during its breakdown affect nervous tissue, have a destructive effect on the liver, brain and heart.
