A nutritionist from the USA listed products that prevent skin aging
Nicole Hopsegger, an employee of the Cleveland Clinic located in the United States, listed foods that prevent skin aging. The nutritionist also talked about food that has the opposite effect.
According to Nicole Hopsegger, healthy and elastic skin becomes after a person regularly consumes fish, linseed, soybean and rapeseed oils, walnuts, chia seeds – due to the content they have a large amount of Omega-3. Thanks to it, the level of triglycerides present in blood lipids decreases, and the degree of inflammation decreases. Due to fatty acids, collagen is supported in the skin, which makes it elastic.
Vegetables and fruits contain vitamins and antioxidants that remove the sun's rays and free radicals from the outer coverings of the body. Lycopene, for example, which is rich in tomatoes, contributes to the smoothness of the skin.
Polyphenols present in tea, coffee, grapes, dark chocolate (if the percentage of cocoa in it is at least 60) smooth the rough texture of the skin.
In the second list, opposite, the American nutritionist included bananas, white bread, semi-finished cereals, sugar, white rice, fried or boiled potatoes, sweet carbonated water, crackers. These products, getting into the human body, irritate the skin and accelerate its aging.
