A nutritionist told how to increase efficiency with the help of a business lunch

A lunch break on a working day is not just an opportunity to satisfy hunger. Depending on how the business lunch is organized, efficiency can either decrease or increase. Nutritionist Nataliya Kruglova told how much time should be devoted to this meal and what should be included in the menu.
The expert noted that it is important to pay attention to the level of satiety after a business lunch. Overeating will reduce performance in the afternoon. On the other hand, if you don't eat enough food, the feeling of hunger will also distract you from work. Lunch is one of the main meals, including during the working day, so it should be full, Kruglova emphasized.
The nutritionist recommended to set aside at least 20-30 minutes for a business lunch, and during this time any -what work issues should not distract from food.
Regarding the business lunch menu, Kruglova advised to pay attention to vegetables – for example, in the form of soup or salad. According to the expert, vegetables should be at least half of the total amount of food. The other half should be complex carbohydrates and protein. In the first case, it can be buckwheat, rice or pasta, and as a protein component you can choose meat, poultry or fish.
