A psychologist explained the influence of abundance on the state of health.
The specialist explained that the lack of money in itself does not affect well-being as much as the tendency of people to compare themselves with others.
Against this background, a person develops feelings of inferiority, which most often leads to a state of chronic stress, which obviously has a detrimental effect on both mental and physical health.
“Being able to compare what you have with other people's resources makes us less satisfied. The realization that “I have less than others” can be no less, if not more, a stressor than low income,” says the psychologist.
However, she explained that for building warm emotional relationships with family and friends helps a person minimize the impact of such a financial factor.
