A psychotherapist talked about the health benefits of kissing
The psychotherapist declared the benefits of kissing for health. He also refuted the claims of his colleagues that such interaction is useless.
Recently, a sexologist stated that there is no value in kissing, including on a psychological level. The psychotherapist has a different opinion, pointing out that during such contact, couples exchange millions of bacteria, but this is not only not harmful, but on the contrary, it has some benefits. For example, when microorganisms are introduced from one partner to another, the immune system can be strengthened.
The latter gets the opportunity to train on bacteria that she has not met before. In addition, kisses cause emotional experiences, because they are physical contact. In couples, it often only reinforces sexual interest.
A psychotherapist considers a kiss to be a powerful “hormonal cocktail” that activates the brain. Dopamine and serotonin are released, which has a positive effect on mood and well-being, and can even change consciousness. In some cases, kissing is one of the main components of intimate relationships between partners.
