Delicate mushroom pate — a great alternative to meat options, which is perfect both for the festive table and for everyday snacks. It is easy to prepare, and the taste will pleasantly surprise you with the combination of delicate texture and bright mushroom aroma.
Ingredients for mushroom pate:
- 500 g of champignons or other favorite mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100 ml of cream (20%)
- 50 g of butter
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for serving
Clean and cut the mushrooms and onions into small pieces. Heat the butter in a pan and fry the onion until golden, then add the mushrooms and fry until the liquid evaporates.
Add the chopped garlic, salt and pepper, fry for a few more minutes. After that, remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool a little.
Transfer the mushrooms to a blender, add the cream and beat until smooth. If you want the pate to be more delicate, add a little more cream.
The finished pate can be served with dried bread or croutons, garnished with fresh herbs.
