A recipe for delicious drumsticks in a natural sweet and sour sauce
1
Shins in sweet and sour natural sauce – a dish that combines the perfect balance of flavors: the sweetness of honey and sourness. The contrast makes the chicken meat not only juicy, but also gives it a caramelized crust. And it's very tasty!
Cooking begins with the marinade. For the sauce you will need honey, soy sauce, vinegar, tomato paste and garlic. The combination of honey and vinegar is a classic technique that adds piquancy to the dish and helps soften the meat. Soy sauce, in turn, acts as a natural flavor enhancer, because it contains glutamate, which makes the dish richer.
Marine the chicken legs in this sauce for about 30 minutes. During baking at 180°C, the sauce caramelizes, forming an appetizing crispy crust on the drumsticks. By the way, it is the honey in the marinade that helps the meat brown evenly and gives it a deep, rich taste.
Chicken legs are cooked for about 40-45 minutes. It is important to periodically water them with the remains of the sauce so that the meat remains juicy. Natural sweet and sour sauce makes ordinary chicken legs a real culinary delight.
