A simple recipe for a quick and healthy snack made from cucumbers and greens
The most useful type of snack is vegetables and greens, because they are rich in vitamins and fiber. Also, these products are low in calories, which allows you to satisfy your hunger without the slightest risk to your figure. We offer you to try the perfect snack made of cucumbers and fresh greens.
What products will we need:
- half a kilo of cucumbers (it is better to take small ones rather than long ones);
- one bunch of dill and green onion;
- 1 apple;
- juice of half a lemon;
- a tablespoon of horseradish;
- 4 tablespoons of natural yogurt or low-fat sour cream;
- salt as needed.
How to cook:
You can immediately get a salad bowl by sending slices of cucumbers into it and finely chopped greens. Then we begin to prepare the most delicious part of the recipe – the dressing, which will amaze you with its unusual combination of different preferences.
In a separate bowl, add grated apple, lemon juice, horseradish, sour cream or yogurt, and salt. If you wish, you can diversify the already rich taste with your favorite spices.
Gently mix until smooth and let it brew for 5-7 minutes.
By the way, this dressing easily performs the function of a useful and a delicious sauce for any “serious” dishes made of chicken, beef, pork and even fish.
