A simple recipe for casserole with cottage cheese and apples

Cheese casserole with apples – delicate, a light dish that combines the fresh taste of apples and the softness of cheese. Did you know that such a casserole can be prepared in just a few minutes of preparation? It will be a great breakfast or snack for the whole family, especially for children.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g of cheese
  • 2 apples
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. l. semolina
  • 3 tbsp. l. sugar (you can use less, depending on the sweetness of the apples)
  • A pinch of vanillin
  • 1 tsp. l. baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil for greasing the mold

To prepare the casserole, start by thoroughly beating the cheese with the eggs until smooth. The use of fatty cheese will give the casserole a soft texture, and the semolina will help keep its shape and make it lighter. Apples can be grated on a large grater or cut into thin slices – as you prefer. Important: choose apple varieties with acidity.

Add sugar, vanilla, baking powder and semolina to the curd mixture, then gently fold in the apples. All this should be thoroughly mixed and left to stand for a few minutes so that the semolina swells a little – so the texture will become more airy. Grease the baking form with oil and spread the dough. Bake at a temperature of 180°C for about 35–40 minutes, until the top of the casserole becomes golden.
