A simple recipe for crispy sauerkraut

Sauerkraut is a product useful for intestinal microflora. Thanks to this property, the protective forces of our body are strengthened. If you think that the process of preparing this dish is too troublesome and complicated, then you should try the following recipe.
The following ingredients should be prepared:
- kochan cabbage (3 kilograms);
- one and a half liters of clean water;
- 2 tablespoons each of salt and sugar;
- a three-liter jar.
How to cook:
Wash the cabbage thoroughly and chop it into beautiful straws. Peel the carrot and grate it. The two main ingredients are ready – all that remains is to “deal with” the brine.
Pour the specified amount of water into the pan, dissolve salt and sugar in it. After the water boils, you can turn it off and wait until the liquid becomes a suitable temperature.
We mix the vegetables and transfer them to our prepared jar, and pour the marinade on top.
Then we only have to cover the neck of the jar with gauze and place the jar in a plate or bowl of suitable size. It is worth “stirring” the cabbage several times during the day. A wooden pestle is suitable for this. After three days, you can put it in the refrigerator. The dish is ready.
