A simple recipe for dietary chicken cutlets without onions
For all their love for meat, many people are forced to give it up because of the high caloric value: after all, minced pork is quite fatty. A great alternative can be cutlets from chicken or turkey, which are considered a dietary type of meat.
Details
What products will we need for the recipe:
- half a kilo of chicken fillet;
- 1 medium-sized potato;
- 2 tablespoons of semolina for minced meat and 2.5 for breading;
- 1 chicken egg;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- olive oil for frying;
- salt and any spices for chicken at your discretion.
How to cook:
First wash the chicken fillet well and dry it with a paper towel. Then finely chop the meat with a knife.
We also shred the potatoes with a knife and chop the garlic in the usual way.
To get the perfect texture, we recommend using a blender instead of a meat grinder. First, pass the meat through it, and then add garlic and potatoes.
Transfer the minced meat into a convenient container and pour in the egg, add salt and your favorite spices for chicken or meatballs. Remember that the egg should be at room temperature.
Stir well, add semolina and bring to a homogeneous state. We leave the minced meat to “breathe” for 20-30 minutes.
Then you can start sculpting the cutlets. Instead of breadcrumbs, use semolina again.
We heat the pan, pour in olive oil and cook cutlets. Fry until an appetizing crust appears.
