Homemade pizza is always a special dish that brings the whole family and friends together at the table. It doesn't matter whether you want to create a classic “Margarita” or experiment with unusual ingredients – the main thing is to know a few important nuances.
Ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 150 ml warm water
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Tomato sauce
- 150 g mozzarella
- Fresh basil or other toppings to taste
Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water and leave for 10 minutes to activate. In a large bowl, mix the flour (you can take regular or whole grain), salt and add the yeast mixture. Add olive oil and knead into a soft dough. Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour to rest and rise.
When the dough is well-combined, roll it out into a thin sheet. Spread tomato sauce, mozzarella slices and your chosen toppings on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 10-12 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
