A simple way to make soup with meatballs even tastier

Sometimes not much time to cook hot food, so on such days, soup with meatballs comes to the rescue. Even those who do not like to eat first courses will like this soup.

But everyone prepares it differently. It's like a recipe for borscht – every housewife has her own signature!

But by adding only two ingredients to the soup, you can radically change the classic version of the soup.

  1. Cut the potatoes, pour cold water and put them to boil.
  2. It is better to prepare the meatballs from minced chicken. from chicken breast.
  3. Grind the onion in a meat grinder and add to the minced meat. Salt and season with ground black pepper. You don't need to add anything else to the minced meat, although many people add rice and an egg. When there are fresh herbs, you can add them.
  4. While the potatoes are cooking, form small meatballs. When there is time, you can make a double portion: one in soup, the other in the freezer, so that next time you do not waste time on forming “kolobki”.
  5. The potatoes are almost cooked, now you can salt the water and lower the meatballs into the pan.
  6. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the roast. First, fry the onion until soft, then add carrots, grated or cut into small cubes. Fry for another minute.
  7. Add the roast to the pan. Meatballs and potatoes should be ready by this time.
  8. Now add cream cheese, 1-2 tbsp. This is one of those ingredients that will make your soup tastier!
  9. After that, pour in some 15-20% cream. 60 ml will be enough. Stir the soup, boil for a minute and remove from the heat.

All that remains is to pour the soup into plates, sprinkle with greens and serve.

If you have not yet prepared such a soup, you must definitely try it, but it is better to take the cheese that is in jars, not in briquettes (“friendship” will not work).
