“Just a few minutes of physical exercise a day can have a huge impact on human health in the long term,” the authors of the project state.< /p>
They were experts from the health insurance company Vitality, who analyzed data on the physical activity of 140,000 people. The obtained data show that playing sports for a total of 90 minutes a week (or 13 minutes a day) during the year increases the life expectancy of an inactive person by three years. If a person exercises for 25 minutes a day, their life can be extended by four years.
“We found that people who added four minutes of exercise to their daily life increased their life expectancy by 1, 7 years old”, – the researchers additionally reported.
Speaking of exercises, the experts noted that even just walking would be suitable. They also recommend short runs, bike rides.
