A Ukrainian woman set a record: the oldest participant in a marathon race

For the first time, a resident of the city hit the running track Zhovti Vody (Dnipropetrovsk region) Vladylena Kokina came out only at the age of 58 to cope with diseases.
In total, she took part in more than 500 races in different parts of Ukraine. At the age of 72, Vladylena Yakivna broke the Ukrainian record among female veterans in her age category for the first time.
All in all, Kokina updated national and world achievements at distances from 60 meters to 10 kilometers more than 50 (!) times. 30 of them have not yet been broken.
Undoubtedly, this sports achievement will also remain on this list – at the age of 90, Ms. Vladylena successfully overcame the “ten” as part of the first Dnepr Eco Marathon athletics race in the city of Dnipro.
