A versatile, delicious sauce for a picnic

Serve the sauce with vegetables, salads, cold meats, poultry and any – some bread.
Ingredients:
- 500-600 g of sour cream with a fat content of 15%
- 100-200 g of homemade mayonnaise
- 1 small bunch of green onions
- 1 medium bunch of parsley
- 2 tbsp. l. capers
- 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice
- peel of 1 lemon
- salt, freshly ground black pepper
Step-by-step cooking method:
- Cut green onions as small as possible.
- Finely chop the parsley, add to a mortar, pour lemon juice and mash into a paste. You can also beat it with a blender, adding 1-2 tablespoons of water.
- Mix green paste with zest, onion, sour cream, mayonnaise and chopped green onion. Add salt and pepper.
- Finely chop the capers, add to the sauce, leave to infuse in the refrigerator.
Capers (small salty and sour buds that have not bloomed) can be replaced with green olives or small pickled cucumbers.
