A young woman named Chloe Lego accidentally tore her jeans and asked her boyfriend’s mother to sew them back on. The future mother-in-law readily agreed, leaving a touching “message” on the pants. The girl shared the story on TikTok.

As it turned out, the boy’s mother, Isabel, sewed up the torn jeans using a patch from her son’s children’s pants. “When she gave the pants back, she said, ‘This patch is from Louis’ children’s jeans.’ It’s so cute,” Chloe recalls.

For her, it was more than just a gesture, as she now has a special connection to her lover's past, and keeps the memory with her in her everyday life. “I'm a very sentimental person, so it's very important for me to have a connection with the past. There are so many ways to accompany the people we love,” the young woman shares.

By the way, Chloe and Louis' love story began on Tinder more than a year ago. The couple corresponded a lot, and then started dating.

Lego, who loves poetry and symbolism, adds her own interpretation to the choice of patches. “It’s basically an expression of love and connection, not just between me and my boyfriend, but between me and his mom,” she shares, admitting that she’s now afraid to wear jeans too often because she doesn’t want to damage them.
