Against visceral fat: Named cheap vegetable for weight loss and health

Solving this problem helps with proper nutrition. Research has shown that turnip will help in the fight against visceral fat.
Turnip belongs to the cruciferous family. This plant, which has long been known in Ukraine, is characterized by a high fiber content and low calorie content – from 28 to 34 kcal per 100 g. Thanks to these two properties, turnip gives a long-lasting feeling of satiety without the risk of gaining excess weight. In addition, turnips contain folic acid, vitamins C, E and K.
Research has confirmed that regular inclusion of cruciferous vegetables in the diet, including turnips, contributes to effective weight control. Study participants who consumed a portion of such vegetables every day lost an average of 0.36 kg over four years, while making no additional effort compared to a control group of volunteers.
