“Airy” and sweet dessert “Strawberry Sambuca”

An incredibly airy and sweet dessert made from strawberries and whipped egg whites. It is simply weightless and melts in your mouth. Try making this treat for kids, they will appreciate it, that's guaranteed!

Cooking description:

To get a light and airy dessert, beat the egg whites until the whites do not run, but form a thick, stable foam. Use only fresh strawberries and high-quality gelatin.

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries – 220 grams
  • Sugar – 50 grams
  • Gelatin – 10 grams
  • Egg whites – 2 pieces
  • Water – 3-4 tablespoons (for diluting gelatin)

Preparation method:

  • Prepare the ingredients for sambuca. Sort the strawberries, use only fresh and ripe berries. Rinse and cut off the stems, let the excess moisture drain.
  • Cover the berries with sugar, using an immersion blender, prepare a homogeneous strawberry puree. There should be no lumps.
  • Pour the gelatin with cold water, mix and leave for 7-8 minutes to swell.
  • Wash the chicken eggs, separate the whites from the yolks, we will not need the yolks. Beat the cooled whites until they are stiff peaks. Add them to the strawberry mass. Mix with a spatula.
  • Heat the gelatin to 60 degrees so that it completely dissolves. Add the gelatin to the strawberry-white mass. Mix very well.
  • Pour the strawberry sambuk into the molds. Send the dessert to the refrigerator to set. The time depends on the quality of the gelatin and the size of the molds.
