American nutritionist Christopher More named the useful properties of prunes

Prunes must be included in diet, because it is rich in fiber, and also helps to alleviate the condition of bone diseases. This was stated by nutritionist Christopher Mohr.

The American specialist reminded that 100 grams of prunes contain about 7 grams of fiber with a daily requirement of 22-28 grams for women and 28-34 grams for men.

Many people know about this benefit of the product, but little is known about its other properties. According to a nutritionist, American orthopedists have proven that daily use of dried fruit prevents bone loss.

Prunes help fight osteoporosis and other diseases that have a devastating effect on bones. The product is especially useful for elderly women of the weaker sex.

Adult women who were diagnosed with osteopenia – a decrease in bone mineral density – took part in the study. The results of the scientific work showed that with the consumption of 5-6 dried fruits per day for six months, the loss of bone mass was stopped.

The same amount of prunes should be eaten for heart ailments and diseases accompanied by inflammatory processes.
