Let's start with the fact that there will be many skeptics about this method. Some will say that this cannot be, while others will try to use it. The bottom line is that you will have firm and excellent root vegetables without sprouting until spring.
How to organize storage
You need bags or sacks made of sugar or flour. It is in them that you will need to store the root crops.
First, you need to prepare the carrots and beets. To do this, wash the harvested crop and dry it in the open air, you can do it in the sun for a day.
When the root crops have dried, you need to cut off the places where the leaves grow, that is, the tops. Now leave them to dry again for a day. All the cuts will become dry.
Now fill the bags with carrots and beets. You need to store them in a basement or cellar in a suspended state. The vegetables will be perfectly preserved until March.
