Eating at different times increases the risk of hemorrhagic stroke. It is a brain hemorrhage and is the most dangerous type of acute brain disorder.
Researchers from the UK concluded that the risk of a hemorrhagic stroke or brain hemorrhage increases if you eat dinner at different times.
Scientists observed the relationship between the time of the evening meal and the risk of mortality from cardiovascular diseases, including hemorrhagic stroke. Observations covered more than 28,500 men and 43,200 women who do not suffer from diseases of the heart and blood vessels, as well as tumors. The participants in the study were between 40 and 79 years old.
They were divided into three groups: receiving dinner before 8 p.m., receiving dinner after 8 p.m., and receiving the last meal at different times. The results of the study showed that it was the latter group that had the highest risk of the same hemorrhagic stroke and mortality from it.
In addition, a relationship was found between irregular dinner times and the risk of stroke in general, as well as mortality from cardiovascular of vascular diseases in people with an increased body mass index.
Recall that strokes are ischemic, caused by a blood clot in the brain, or hemorrhagic, caused by a rupture of blood vessels in the brain. The last type is much less common, but it is the most dangerous, most often causing death or severe paralysis. With an ischemic stroke, timely help often makes it possible to completely save the patient from the consequences, but with a hemorrhagic stroke, unfortunately, this does not happen.
