Apple pie with whipped egg whites

There are many recipes for apple pie, but you will definitely like this one. The pie is moist, juicy and original, which makes it special in taste.
Ingredients:
For the dough
- 200 g butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 150 g sugar
- 3 tbsp. sour cream
- 1/3 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 400 g flour
For the filling
- 800 g apples
- 3/4 tbsp. sugar
Top
- 3 egg whites
- 3-4 tbsp. sugar
How to prepare:
- Sieve the flour, add salt and baking powder.
- Grind the flour and butter until crumbly, add sugar, mix.
- Add sour cream and egg yolks to this mass, mix everything quickly and form a layer from the dough. Leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees, grease the baking dish with oil and line with baking paper.
- Make the filling. Grate the apples on a large grater, add sugar and mix everything.
- Put the cooled dough into a springform pan and form dough sides in it.
- Put the apple filling on top.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
- While the cake is baking, beat the egg whites with sugar until stiff.
- Take out the cake and cover it with the egg white mass, draw a pattern on top of the egg whites with a fork.
- Bake the cake for another 20 minutes at 180-200 degrees. Be careful not to burn the egg whites.
