Apple strudel with pita bread in 15 minutes

Strudel with lavash is a wonderful pastry that is prepared in a hurry. Such a strudel turns out to be very tasty, crispy, aromatic, it is great to serve with evening tea or coffee for your family. Try it, it's delicious!

To make apple strudel from pita bread, you will need:

  • thin pita bread (about 50 cm long) – 1 pc.;
  • apples – 2 pcs.;
  • egg – 1 pc.;
  • butter – 40 g;
  • sugar – 4 tbsp. l .;
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling;
  • walnuts – 100 g;
  • raisins – 50 g;
  • cinnamon.

Cooking steps:

  1. Peel the apples from the core, cut into medium pieces. Place the apples in a frying pan, add butter and pour 3 tablespoons of sugar. Fry the apples over low heat until soft, stirring occasionally.
    Grind the walnuts in a blender bowl.

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the egg.
  4. Whisk the egg and sugar well.
  5. Grease the pita bread with the egg mixture.
  6. Lay the cooled apples and raisins (rinse them beforehand) 2/3 of the length of the pita bread and sprinkle with nuts on top.
  7. Roll the pita bread tightly, but not pressing too hard, into a roll.
  8. Grease the top of the roll with the remaining egg mixture.
  9. Bake the pita bread in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about 10-15 minutes – until golden brown. Let the delicious, crispy apple strudel with pita bread cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cinnamon, cut into pieces and serve with tea.
