Are coffee creamers harmful to health?

Many Americans start their day with a cup of coffee. And scientific studies confirm the health benefits of this. But will anything change if you add cream to your coffee?

Many coffee creamers contain a large number of ingredients. Including sugar, water, oil, flavorings, stabilizers. Very little cream or milk is added to this product. And the creaminess of cream comes mainly from butter.

According to Hayley Bischoff, owner of RÅ«tsu Nutrition in Las Vegas, a single serving of cream (one tablespoon) usually has about 4 grams of sugar and 1.5 grams of saturated fat. But cream can still be considered a good alternative to many coffee drinks that contain more sugar and saturated fat.

If you mainly make coffee at home, a drop of cream will not affect your healthy diet in any way. So you should not give it up.

Anya Rosen, a functional medicine practitioner and founder of the Birchwell Clinic, also adds that cream can even be good for the body. The fact is that it contains healthy fat and can slow down the absorption of caffeine. This allows you to get more balanced energy.
