Are rich people really smarter than others?

A high salary does not mean that you are a smart person This is what researchers from Sweden believe.

Scientists from the University of Linkoping studied salary data and compared them with the register of the Swedish population, which passed tests on cognitive abilities.

It turned out that that after the $64,400 mark of income, the connection between knowledge and salary begins to weaken. The results show that one percent of the highest-paid professionals actually do worse on cognitive tests than those directly below them.

The authors of the study also found that the occupations of accountants, doctors, lawyers, professors, judges and senior government officials does not reflect the level of human intelligence.
