Are rich people really smarter than others?

A high salary does not mean that you are a smart person. This is what researchers from Sweden believe.
Scientists from Linköping University studied salary data and compared them with a registry of the Swedish population, which passed a cognitive test.
It turned out that after the $ 64,400 income mark, the connection between knowledge and salary begins to weaken. The results show that the top one percent of highly paid professionals actually perform worse on cognitive tests than those immediately below them.
The study authors also found that the occupations of accountants, doctors, lawyers, professors, judges, and senior government officials do not reflect a person's level of intelligence.
