Researchers in the course of experiments proved that when using less amount of salt lowers blood pressure, which contributes to the health of the cardiovascular system. Currently, developing countries suffer significant economic losses due to non-communicable diseases, which especially hit the budget.
The number of diseases of the heart and blood vessels is increasing, which causes concern for specialists. Scientists analyzed the situation in Cameroon, after which they concluded that in this country every third citizen suffers from hypertension, which is caused by excessive salt consumption.
Australian and British researchers recommend limiting portions of salt. Reducing the amount of this food additive as a whole can improve the health of the body and protect it from damage to internal organs, especially the heart and blood vessels.
