Doctors from the UK have spoken about back pain, which can be a serious danger. Numbness or tingling in the buttocks is especially dangerous.

Most people experience problems of this nature at least once in their lives. Most discomfort falls into the category of “nonspecific” (no obvious cause) or “mechanical,” where pain originates in the joints, bones, or soft tissues in and around the spine. The causes can be varied, ranging from poor posture to awkward lifting of heavy objects.

Stress and exhaustion are also on the list. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience numbness or tingling in the buttocks or genitals, sudden difficulty urinating, loss of bowel control, unsteadiness when walking, or weakness in the legs.
