Back to the 70s: boho pants are back in fashion

Among the flowers and checkered patterns – the most traditional patterns of summer dresses – the paisley print made its way onto the catwalk. This iconic floral motif of Persian origin filled the collections with nostalgia for the fashion of the 60s and 70s, in particular the hippie era. For two years now, designers from a wide variety of fashion houses have continued to draw inspiration from the style of that time: new collections are full of various boho motifs. Their reflection can be found in dresses, blouses and skirts, but our attention was especially drawn to the boho-style pants.

Many designers have embodied the hippie style by introducing pants in the crochet technique: we saw them at Paco Rabbane, Jonathan Simkhai and Gabriela Hearst. If you think that crochet pants only have a place on the catwalk or the beach, you are mistaken. For several seasons now, knitted things have been taking over the summer casual wardrobe and do not plan to stop. Of course, only the most desperate fashionistas will decide to recreate the catwalk look, but in combination with a simple white T-shirt or an alcoholic T-shirt, boho pants will look great on everyone.

If crochet is still not to your taste, focus on models made of more “understandable” fabric, but decorated with bright ethnic prints. We saw such pants in various variations at Etro, Staud and Ulla Johnson. Their advantage is not only in brightness, but also in convenience. Loose pants made of natural fabrics are almost as comfortable as your favorite pajamas, but they look more suitable for going out. Boho pants can be combined with a knitted top, and a white oversized shirt can be thrown on top. Just a few simple things, and your ultra-comfortable and stylish look is ready.
