In particular, the doctor warned that the consequence of improper intake of fish oil can be the development of breast cancer and cognitive disorders.
“This supplement can negatively affect brain function, especially if stored and transported improperly. A person may experience hypoxia and memory problems. Also, uncontrolled intake of fish oil can increase the risk of developing breast cancer and impair fertility,” the doctor stated.
The doctor added that if taking fish oil leads to an excess of fatty acids in the body, this can negatively affect the condition of the liver, increasing the risk of excessive fat, cholesterol, and the development of fatty hepatosis.
