Breathing can predict how long you will live

To live as long as possible will be a goal and a basic human instinct for almost for everyone Any number of factors can determine how long a person lives, but according to a new study, one of them is the way you breathe.

Lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, alcohol consumption and smoking can affect the life expectancy of a person. According to a new study, the pattern of breathing can also affect life expectancy.

The study was conducted on more than 2,000 Australians, who were followed for 22 years. Analysis of 2,087 participants found a remarkable margin.

Results of the study showed that those who experienced shortness of breath were more likely to die earlier. This was found to be the case regardless of whether the person smoked or not.

Additionally, coughing in ex-smokers and wheezing in current smokers were also found to indicate a shorter life expectancy. However, smoking remained one of the main factors in life expectancy due to the increased risk of cancer and heart disease.
