Bright and appetizing minced meat roll for a holiday feast

A delicious snack for adults a feast for any occasion! Roll made of minced meat in the oven with filling can be served as a snack or main course with any side dish. In cold form, the roll is no less tasty than when hot. The filling of boiled eggs and greens goes well with the meat layer.

Ingredients:

  • Minced meat (pork, beef, chicken) – 650 g
  • Milk – 200 ml
  • Loaf – 150 g
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Black pepper ground to taste
  • Salt to taste

Filling:

  • Chicken eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.
  • Parsley (5 sprigs) 30 g
  • Dill (5 sprigs) – 20 g
  • Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp. l.

Preparation:

How to make a meat roll from minced meat in the oven with filling? First, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. Choose mincemeat to your taste. It can be minced meat from a certain type of meat, for example, only pork, beef or chicken, or mixed: pork/beef, pork/chicken, pork/beef/chicken.

Soak the loaf in milk and leave for 5-7 minutes. Drain the dairy milk remaining after soaking in the bowl.

Place minced meat, egg, soaked loaf, salt and pepper in a blender bowl. Beat everything until smooth.

Now prepare the filling.

Hard-boil the eggs, cool and peel. Cut the eggs into small cubes.

Wash the parsley and dill, dry and finely chop. If desired, you can replace or supplement with other greens, for example, cilantro, green onions, or use a mixture of different herbs.

Peel the garlic and finely chop it. In advance, turn on the oven at 190 degrees.

Grease a sheet of foil folded in 2-3 layers or buy thick foil with oil. Put the minced meat on the foil and spread it into an even rectangular layer about 1.5 cm thick.

Grease the surface of the minced meat with mayonnaise . Closer to the middle, along the entire length, lay out the chopped eggs. Place the parsley and dill next to the eggs.

Use the foil to roll the minced meat. For the roll, it is better to take thick foil that will not tear.

Wrap the roll with foil and wrap the edges up so that the juice does not leak out during baking. Transfer the roll to a sheet and put it in an oven heated to 190℃ for 40 minutes.

Then unfold the foil and bake the roll for another 5-7 minutes until the crust is golden brown. The exact baking time depends on your technique and products.
