By what signs can you distinguish a spider mite and magnesium deficiency

On the appearance of the signs is similar, but magnesium deficiency and spider mite on the leaves need to be able to distinguish. First of all, it affects the decisions made regarding treatment and the choice of drugs for it. They do have differences.

What are the signs to distinguish

Sometimes summer residents go through a real challenge to distinguish pests from signs of diseases or certain deficiencies. The same thing happens in case of insufficient amount of magnesium in plants and reproduction of spider mite.

Look carefully at the outer part of the leaves. With magnesium deficiency, there are clear yellow spots on the surface of the leaves. If you turn the leaves over, you can see a slight translucency in the spots. At the same time, the reverse side remains clean.

In the presence of pests, the surface has randomly arranged spots. The leaves begin to turn very yellow completely. At the edges you can see a small web. If you look at the reverse side of the leaves, there seems to be a scattering of the smallest garbage. And black and orange tiny dots are a spider mite.

In case of pests, the plant should be treated with Fitoverm, and in case of magnesium deficiency, spray the leaves with magnesium sulfate in proportions of 1 g per 1 liter of water. In particular, the solution should be poured under the root.
