According to this fact, the investigators of the Sviatoshyn police department initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – abuse of official position.

During the pre-trial investigation, the police established that the man, working as the head of the social protection department of Sviatoshyn district, from March to July 2023, signed orders for his own bonuses for allegedly performance of particularly important tasks and for personal initiative in improving the unit.

However, the funds he accrued to himself were allocated to pay the employees. In this way, the man caused material losses to the state in the amount of 145 thousand hryvnias.

The 35-year-old official was informed of the suspicion. The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, with a fine of two hundred and fifty to seven hundred and fifty tax-free minimum incomes of citizens.
