Can eggs improve mental abilities?

A new study suggests that eating eggs may have a beneficial effect on brain function.

The results of the study were published in the journal Nutritional Neuroscience. 79 people aged 18 to 75 participated in the tests. Experts assessed the cognitive functions of these people at different points in the study.

The results show that eating eggs did not improve people's results on psychomotor alertness tests. However, the results of the reaction time test turned out to be better.

Dr. Kieran Campbell noted that the results were positive, but it is still difficult to say whether it was the egg white that affected this, since there are other components in eggs that can improve cognitive function.

The specialist also believes that people should still focus on an overall healthy eating pattern, including everything the body and brain need for optimal function in their diet.
