“Sudden cardiac arrest can occur at any age and with any lifestyle, but men over 40 are at increased risk.”
As for cases of cardiac arrest at a young age, they are usually caused by hereditary, congenital heart anomalies. It is not always possible to detect these defects even during an examination. A person can be young, seem strong and full of strength, and not know about their heart problems. Its sudden stop may be the first sign of these disorders.
Cardiologist Barush drew attention to the fact that cardiac arrest can occur with increased physical exertion.
“In the event of sudden cardiac arrest, a person instantly loses consciousness, often this happens during physical exertion.”
According to the cardiologist, exertion or sport as such cannot be the direct cause of an attack. But if the body is weakened due to some factors, they can increase the susceptibility to such an event.
