The fruit is rich in fiber and reduces the risk of metabolic syndrome (a condition that threatens heart disease, diabetes, and stroke). In addition, avocado lowers blood pressure, contains magnesium and potassium, and restores joints.

The specialist recommends eating half of the fruit every morning. It can be added to sandwiches, salads and smoothies, complemented with herbs, fruits and vegetables.
