Cardiologist shares secret to reducing biological age

According to a cardiologist from Germany, one of the secrets that allows you to slow down aging and reduce biological age lies in nutrition.

The famous German cardiologist Martin Halle shared in an interview a method of reducing biological age. He stated that a person's tendency to age is influenced by the way they eat. If food contributes to an increase in cholesterol, this can lead to hardening of the blood vessels. Foods that increase sugar levels contribute to the destruction of the protective layer of blood vessels.

The deterioration of the vascular system, its tissues, epithelium, and its susceptibility to atherosclerosis, says Martin Halle, is one of the most significant factors influencing the rate of biological aging of the body. This is partly due to the fact that damaged vessels release substances into the blood that activate inflammation.

In turn, the cardiologist states that maintaining blood vessels in good shape may be the secret to reducing biological age. In this case, the body retains its youthfulness due to saturation with useful trace elements, since “the elasticity and openness of blood vessels helps to supply all cells of the body with nutrients.”
