Cereals cooked in a pan are the tastiest: a recipe for a crumbly and aromatic side dish

We bring to your attention a simply wonderful recipe for the “Composite” side dish: from rice and buckwheat, which is very easy to prepare, while in a frying pan, which is very convenient. Delight your family with a delicious, crumbly and aromatic dish.

Recipe:

  • Rice 100 g.
  • Buckwheat 100 g.
  • Water or broth 450 ml.
  • Salt to taste)
  • Butter 30 g.

Take equal proportions of rice and buckwheat groats. The number of ingredients can be increased.

Wash the groats well and let the water drain, you can wipe them with a paper towel.

Then put a piece of butter, about 30 grams, in the pan. and melt it.

Add the groats and fry over high heat for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the groats begin to acquire a golden hue.

Pour the fried groats with hot water or broth ( salt to your taste). At this stage, a pleasant nutty aroma will “stand” in the kitchen.

Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes. If you let the porridge steam, it will be even tastier. But you can treat yourself anyway.
