Scientists analyzed the data of 1787 people aged 46 to 77 years. The volunteers were asked to describe their diet and indicate how much alcohol they consumed.

It turned out that people who often eat cheese are less prone to the risk of memory loss. The researchers found that daily consumption of red wine improves cognitive function, but excessive salt consumption, on the contrary, worsens it. wealthy people drink wine, additional clinical trials are needed to determine whether making simple changes in the diet can significantly help our brain,” explained one of the authors of the study, Auriel Willet.
