Chicken in sour cream sauce: easy to prepare, but special in taste

If you love sour cream sauce and chicken, this dish will definitely become your favorite. You can serve it with any side dish or even without it, it is very easy to prepare, requires simple ingredients, but the taste is special and does not resemble the taste of other chicken dishes with sour cream. The chicken turns out tender, and the sauce is smooth and tastes simply amazing.
Ingredients:
- 1.7 kg chicken
- 200 g. sour cream
- 2 pcs. onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 4 tsp. paprika (sweet ground)
- ground pepper to taste
- salt to taste
Preparation:
1. The dish can be prepared from any chicken parts (thighs, drumsticks). You can use a whole chicken. Cut the chicken into 10 pieces, leaving the backbone. Put it in boiling water and prepare the broth.
2. Sprinkle the chicken parts with salt, paprika (2 tsp), ground pepper and place them skin side down in a deep frying pan. Do not add oil, cover with a lid and cook over high heat until the side is browned.
3. The chicken will stew a little and then fry. Turn it over and fry again. Paprika gives it a wonderful color. It will take about 20 minutes.
4. Remove the chicken from the pan. If there is not enough fat, add 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons of oil. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until soft.
5. Then add the chopped garlic to the onion and cook for a few minutes. Add flour, paprika (2 tsp with a slide) and ground pepper. Mix.
6. Add sour cream and pour in 500 ml of broth. Add salt, mix well and you get a nice liquid sauce.
7. Put the fried chicken pieces in the sauce, cover and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes.
8. During this time, the chicken will be fully cooked and the sauce will thicken. The sauce will be smooth and very tasty.
9. Transfer the finished chicken in sour cream sauce to plates with a side dish, pour generously with sauce, sprinkle with herbs and serve. The chicken will be tender and very tasty, and the sour cream sauce tastes simply amazing.
