Chocolate cookies “Sweet gift”

These chocolate hearts are perfect for a gift or just bake them for the people you love.

INGREDIENTS

For the glaze:

  • dark chocolate – 120 g
  • white chocolate – 120 g
  • butter for greasing the baking sheet – 1 tbsp. l.
  • butter – 2 tbsp. l.

For the dough:

  • honey – 0.3 cups
  • baking powder – 1 tbsp. l.
  • fine brown sugar – 2/3 cups
  • cayenne pepper – a pinch
  • wheat flour – 3.5 cups
  • ground cloves – 0.5 tsp. l.
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • butter oil – 100 g
  • ground ginger – 1 tsp. l.

CREAMING RECIPE:

  1. Prepare the dough. Beat the butter with the sugar and egg. Add honey.
  2. Pour the sifted flour, baking powder, ginger, cloves and cayenne pepper into a bowl. Beat the dough with a mixer.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a 6 mm thick layer.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease two small baking sheets with oil. Cut hearts out of the dough using a notch and transfer them to the sheets. Remove to the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Bake in turns for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
  5. Melt the dark and white chocolate separately in a water bath.
  6. Without removing from the wire rack, coat half of the cookies with dark chocolate, the other half with white chocolate. Transfer the remaining chocolate into 2 pastry bags with a thin nozzle and use it to shade the dark cookies with white chocolate and vice versa. Sprinkle with sugar and let the chocolate set.
