Chocolate prevents the development of cancer and dementia

Chocolate contains a large number of useful substances that help in fighting many diseases, including cancer and dementia. 

Epicatechins contained in chocolate lower blood pressure and increase the level of good cholesterol in the blood. As a result, the risk of developing atherosclerosis is reduced to a minimum.

Polyphenols, thanks to their antioxidant properties, prevent the occurrence of various types of oncology. Chocolate is also an effective tool in the treatment of allergies and rheumatism due to the reduction of active oxygen in the body, which causes these conditions.

In addition, this product prevents the oxidation of docosahexaenoic acid. Since the latter is concentrated in the brain, the risk of dementia is thus reduced.

It sounds paradoxical, but chocolate helps control weight. The fact is that if you eat it before breakfast, lunch or dinner, the level of sugar in the blood rises, which contributes to the suppression of appetite.
